After I first noticed the headlines screaming that former President Donald Trump – who was laughably branded a fascist by Kamala Harris – was threatening to have Liz Cheney executed by firing squad, I reflexively laughed and mentioned to myself, let’s wait 24 hours and see how this one pretend story rocks (“Trump emphasizes army context of Liz Cheney gun-facing remarks,” Net, Nov. 1).
