Appeals court docket judges seem poised to overturn or scale back Trump’s ‘troubling’ civil fraud conviction

Some New York appeals court docket judges appeared receptive Thursday to probably overturning or lowering a civil fraud conviction that can price Donald Trump practically $500 million. One decide known as the previous president’s sentence “disturbing” and questioned whether or not the state’s administration of personal enterprise transactions constituted “deterrence” or “mission creep.”
