A 22-year-old man was hospitalized Sunday morning after main Irvine police on a chase that ended when he boarded a random boat on Balboa Island in Newport Seashore.
Police stated the person, lined in blood from self-inflicted cuts, could have skilled a psychological well being disaster.
Police initially responded to a report of a “suspicious male with blood on him” round 7 a.m. within the space of Rockefeller and Jamboree Highway, the place the 22-year-old was present in a automobile. He then jumped into the water and took a kayak to a ship within the harbor, Irvine police spokesman Kyle Oldoerp stated.
